Book Reviews: Birth Order and Water for Elephants

I have been recommending this book since I started reading it and have been trying to guess everyone's birth order since. :)
This book has helped me not only understand myself and my firstborn characteristics and why I act the way I do but also how to understand others better; including my children, according to their birth order.
The author; Dr. Kevin Leman, describes the common personalities in first-borns, middle children, and last-borns then goes on to describe marriage between similar birth orders and different birth orders and what each can do to better their marriage, and last but not least, he helps you understand your children and how to parent each birth order. He argues that birth order can affect our personalities and relationships (I can only attest to that as he was right to the "T" about the first-born characteristics).
This book helped me better understand myself, my husband, my children, and everyone else. I can not recommend it highly enough.
Check out other reviews for the book or better yet, read it so you can be amazed by the power of the birth order. It will change your outlook on life and your relationships with others.

The author's meticulous research and creativity transports you in an adventure and pulls you to all the actions around a circus and the heart-beating sensation of a forbidden love story. It is the story of a veterinarian who ends up in a circus train after a fateful night wandering after the death of his parents. He ends up falling in love with one the performers who happens to be his boss's wife.
I enjoyed reading this book and can not wait to watch the movie.
The movie is set to open April 22nd. Starring Reese Whitherspoon and Robert Pattinson (the twilight guy).
Currently Reading: NurtureShock
