Recently, my four year old became a Picasso in the making. As a mother, I am proud and elated to see my little girl become a little artist but not too fond of all the artwork being displayed on the walls "with a scotch tape". I am sure that many of you are faced with the same problem; the kids' papers pile up and we are left with a mountain of paper that we don't know what to do with.
Thankfully, I was able to compile some few ways that can help showcase the child's work without crowding the walls in the house or burying the fridge door in a pile of paper.
Frames: Select one or few of your child's art, glue them to a colorful construction paper or wrapping paper and frame them.
You can also use floating frames and alternate the art displayed.

Binder: Punch holes or use page protectors to store and display their work in a loose leaf binder.

Photobook: Take pictures of their work or scan them then upload them online through Walgreens or Snapfish to make a photobook with descriptions and/or dates of their work. You can also create a collage or a scrapbook or a poster with the pictures.

Make a placemat: Use contact paper or laminate paper to seal the artwork.

Mobile: A friend of mine had this genius idea of making a mobile with her daughter's artwork so I searched and found this tutorial online that could very well work with your child's art.
Clothesline or Curtain Rods: Use two screwing hooks to attach a clothesline then clip their projects with clothes pins that you can paint and decorate or use a curtain rod with hanging clips to showcase their work.
I like these curtain rods from Ikea. I am waiting to go there soon to grab few of these. Can't wait :).

Frame Holder: Use a frame holder to display it above the fireplace or elsewhere.
Magnetic Wall Paint: Paint your walls using a magnetic wall paint and have them tack up their work with magnets.
Do you have any other ideas for displaying children's artwork?
