Photo source The fridge is one of those few places around the house where we'd like to think that once it's out of sight it's out of mind. Leftovers, expired food, a hidden carrot behind the veggie tray. But it's important to have an organized fridge. I think that part of healthy eating is a clean fridge where you can have a good view of the vegetables and the fruits inside it. It just makes you want to grab them and eat those good-for-you vegetables. :) and when it comes time to cook, you don't have to spend extra precious time digging through the mountain of food. So I went to Bed Bath and Beyond looking for something that might just make cleaning/organizing the fridge easier. And I found it. They sell fridge liners for $4.99. And best of all they are machine washable. So no need to spend time cleaning the fridge. Throw them in the washing machine and put them back.

So I emptied the fridge one shelf at a time, threw away expired food, cleaned it (mixture of baking soda and water) and laid down the shelf liners.
And voila, here are the final results.

And after all that work, I sat down to enjoy a healthy lunch :)
