Serves 4 people
Cooking time: 6-8 hrs in Slow cooker
Ingredients:
1 lb of ground turkey
1 Can of Diced tomatoes with chili
1 Can of Crushed tomatoes or tomato sauce
1/2 an onion chopped (used the onions from the freezer)
1 Can of black or Kidney beans
1 diced green pepper
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 Tbsp of chili powder
2 tsps of Cumin
2 tsps of dried Oregano
1/2 tsp of cinnamon (my secret ingredient :))
1 Tbsp of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
In a skillet, cook the ground turkey with the olive oil until brown then toss in the slow cooker with the garlic powder, chili powder, Cumin, cinnamon, and Oregano.
Add the peppers, diced tomatoes and the crushed tomatoes or tomato sauce then pour 1/2 to 1 Cup of water or chicken broth, depending on how thick you like your chili.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours
Serve with some Corn bread or tortilla chips.

Instructions
